The collection contains more than 14,000 artworks created by circa 2,000 Belgian and international artists. The vast majority consists of prints, but it also contains portfolios, artist books and posters. This entity unites the collection of the Fédération Wallonie‑Bruxelles, the collection of the Municipal Administration of La Louvière and the CGII’s own collection.

The collection is developing thanks to a structural acquisition policy by the Municipal Administration of La Louvière and the CGII; to ad hoc calls launched by the Fédération Wallonie‑Bruxelle; to the many gifts, we received from the generous artists themselves or their beneficiaries, as well as from structures for the production and/or dissemination of printed art.

The collection is integrated on a rotating basis in our exhibition program and it is kept according to the applicable environmental and museological standards.
