Elle rassemble ces \u00ab&nbsp;quotes&nbsp;\u00bb textuels dans la s\u00e9rie de publications <em>Pool<\/em> dont le 4e num\u00e9ro sera pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au printemps 2021 au MOMA \u00e0 New York.<br><br>Ses performances parl\u00e9es sont un mix intelligent d\u2019aphorismes et d\u2019exp\u00e9riences et <em>statements<\/em> intimes, combin\u00e9s \u00e0 des analyses socio\u2011politiques percutantes qu\u2019elle d\u00e9clame sur un ton confinant souvent \u00e0 l\u2019hyst\u00e9rie logorrh\u00e9ique. Ce faisant, elle exprime l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 de notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 hyper\u2011connect\u00e9e, gangr\u00e9n\u00e9e par un individualisme qui entra\u00eene une combinaison paradoxale de d\u00e9pendance avide \u00e0 l\u2019information et de d\u00e9ficit structurel d\u2019attention. Sa position combat, en le contrefaisant, l\u2019ordre patriarcal dans lequel la parole des femmes serait r\u00e9duite au silence ou alors assimil\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019expression de personnes d\u00e9viantes, ali\u00e9n\u00e9es ou, pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, hyst\u00e9riques. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Les cinq affiches que nous pr\u00e9sentons ici, r\u00e9alis\u00e9es pour la plupart en 2018, r\u00e9sonnent, non sans \u00e9voquer le contexte pand\u00e9mique actuel, avec diff\u00e9rentes probl\u00e9matiques contemporaines soulev\u00e9es par l\u2019exposition, en particulier le rapport que nous entretenons avec notre fragilit\u00e9 et notre mortalit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Nora Turato&#8217;s practice is essentially performative and graphic. She explores the versatility of language and its flows as raw material for spoken or, rather, chanted and immersive performances.<br><br>Nora Turato&#8217;s preferred medium is therefore language and words, the visual and symbolic potential of which she uses to create frescoes or wall compositions<\/span> which combine different registers of language and graphic styles and seem to be inspired by press texts, movie scripts, chat tweets or video clips. She brings together these textual quotes in the <em>Pool<\/em> publication series, the 4th issue of which will be presented in spring 2021 at MOMA in New York.<br><br>Her spoken performances are an intelligent mix of aphorisms and intimate experiences and statements, combined with powerful socio-political analyses that she declaims in a tone often bordering on logorrheic hysteria. In so doing, she expresses the anxiety of our hyper-connected society, plagued by an individualism that results in a paradoxical combination of greedy information addiction and structural attention deficit. Her stance combats, by counterfeiting it, the patriarchal order in which the voice of women is silenced or assimilated to the expression of deviant, alienated or, precisely, hysterical people. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">The five posters that we present here, mostly produced in 2018, resonate, not without evoking the current pandemic context, with various contemporary issues raised by the exhibition, in particular the relationship we have with our own fragility and mortality.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-95700","extra","type-extra","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra\/95700","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/extra"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=95700"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
