Sukrii Kural et Fran\u00e7ois De Jonge collaborent ensemble au sein du collectif Super\u2011Structure,<\/span> un projet \u00e9ditorial exp\u00e9rimental qu\u2019ils ont fond\u00e9 en 2012. Ce projet se concr\u00e9tise dans la revue du m\u00eame nom, qu\u2019ils con\u00e7oivent comme un objet ouvert et inclusif o\u00f9, au d\u00e9part de th\u00e9matiques sp\u00e9cifiques, ils invitent des artistes et des auteur\u00b7rice\u00b7s \u00e0 contribuer. Ces contributions seront confront\u00e9es les unes aux autres dans un rapport de m\u00e9tabolisation : tour \u00e0 tour potentiellement recadr\u00e9es, tritur\u00e9es, re\u2011color\u00e9es, elles seront surtout reconfigur\u00e9es en vue du processus d\u2019impression, \u00e9tape pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante dont De Jonge et Kural veulent explorer toutes les potentialit\u00e9s techniques et chromatiques.

La collaboration des deux membres fondateurs de Super\u2011Structure se cristallise \u00e9galement autour de projets plus installatifs. Fran\u00e7ois De Jonge aime revisiter dans les volumes et objets qu\u2019il imagine les concepts et les formes de l\u2019arch\u00e9ologie, de fa\u00e7on tour \u00e0 tour fonctionnelle ou symbolique, toujours gorg\u00e9e d\u2019imaginaire. Sukrii Kural cr\u00e9e, lui, des objets imprim\u00e9s qui poussent \u00e0 leur extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 les potentialit\u00e9s expressives que lui offrent les diff\u00e9rentes techniques d\u2019impression et leur interaction avec les supports sur lesquels ils sont imprim\u00e9s.

Le point de d\u00e9part de la proposition qu\u2019ils pr\u00e9sentent pour Bye Bye His\u2011Story, chapter 5050<\/em> est constitu\u00e9 par un objet \u00ab\u00a0livre\u00a0\u00bb aux couleurs chatoyantes,<\/span> enti\u00e8rement imprim\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on digitale sur tissu et que l\u2019on manipule au moyens de gants \u00e9galement imprim\u00e9s. La pr\u00e9ciosit\u00e9 de l\u2019objet, ses chromatismes \u00e9clatants font imm\u00e9diatement penser \u00e0 un livre d\u2019heures du futur. Cette dimension a ind\u00e9niablement amen\u00e9 la conception d\u2019un dispositif de pr\u00e9sentation sculptural \u00e9voquant un autel, ou une arche d\u2019alliance,<\/span> et qui place le corps du spectateur dans un rapport physique \u00e0 la fois direct et contraignant avec l\u2019\u0153uvre imprim\u00e9e.<\/span> Le caract\u00e8re diffus, abstrait des impressions digitales qui se suivent \u00e0 l\u2019instar d\u2019une d\u00e9clinaison de futurs possibles, laisse \u00e9videmment de la place \u00e0 une ind\u00e9termination \u00e0 la fois stimulante et questionnant sur la nature de ces derniers.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sukrii Kural and Fran\u00e7ois De Jonge collaborate together in the collective Super-Structure, an experimental publishing project that they founded in 2012.<\/span> This project takes the concrete form of the magazine of the same name, which they conceive as an open and inclusive object to which, based on specific themes, they invite artists and authors to contribute. These contributions are confronted with each other in a process of metabolization: successively potentially cropped, manipulated, re-coloured, they will above all be reconfigured in view of the printing process, a step of paramount importance for which De Jonge and  Kural aim to explore all the technical and chromatic potentialities.

The collaboration of the two founding members of Super-Structure also crystallizes around more installation-based projects. Fran\u00e7ois De Jonge likes to revisit, in the volumes and objects that he dreams up, the concepts and the forms of archaeology, in a functional or symbolic way, and always full of imagination. Sukrii Kural creates printed objects that push to their limits the expressive potentials offered by different printing techniques and their interaction with the media on which they are printed.

The starting point of the contribution they present for Bye Bye His-Story, chapter 5050<\/em> is constituted by a “book” object in shimmering colors, entirely digitally printed on fabric and which is also symbolically handled using a printed glove.<\/span> The preciousness of the object, its dazzling colours immediately make one think of a Book of Hours from the future. This dimension undeniably led to the design of a sculptural presentation device that evokes an altar (or an Arch of Alliance) and which places the viewer’s body in a physical relationship with the printed work that is both direct and constrictive.
