Ce projet multim\u00e9dia trouve son origine dans une v\u00e9ritable fascination pour les spirales<\/span> en tant que formes ambivalentes et symboliques. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Celles-ci peuvent en effet<\/span> tout autant <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">sugg\u00e9rer<\/span> l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019une expansion illimit\u00e9e que symboliser, dans une activation en rotation centrifuge, <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">les impasses cr\u00e9\u00e9es par le paradigme de la croyance illusoire en un progr\u00e8s infini. L\u2019installation se d\u00e9tache sur un fond de papier peint lui aussi con\u00e7u par l\u2019artiste exprimant les entraves et les murs mentaux dans lesquels l\u2019humanit\u00e9 peut s\u2019enfermer.<\/span> Un dessin \u00e0 l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 expressive similaire vient compl\u00e9ter l\u2019ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Serge Onnen is primarily a draftsman but practices his favourite medium with a broad and inclusive approach that he often conceives in a pre-cinematographic sense.<\/span> The installation on display here centres around <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">the presentation-activation of Roto-Reliefs of Duchampian inspiration. They consist of Risograph prints of spiral patterns applied on vinyl records played on turntables. This multimedia project finds its origin in a deep fascination with spirals as an ambivalent and symbolic form which can as much suggest the idea of an unlimited expansion as symbolize, in its activation in centrifugal rotation, the dead ends created by the paradigm of the illusory belief in infinite progress.<\/span> The installation is set up against a <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">wallpaper background also designed by the artist, which alludes to the mental shackles and walls in which humanity can find itself trapped. <\/span>It is complemented by an equally effective drawing of a headless drawing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-95680","extra","type-extra","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra\/95680","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/extra"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=95680"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
