Coexistent dans son travail des formes de dialogues implicites entre <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">des envies contradictoires, entre bonnes intentions et d\u00e9monstrations compulsives.<\/span> Son art veut \u00e0 la fois plaire et perturber des sch\u00e9mas classiques de consommation qui op\u00e8rent d\u2019ailleurs souvent par des automatismes de s\u00e9duction et d\u2019auto\u2011promotion abusive. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">En l\u2019occurrence, nous pr\u00e9sentons un print monumental, magnifi\u00e9 \u00e0 la taille humaine,<\/span> d\u2019un carton de jus de fruit qui semble imploser de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur \u00e0 l\u2019instar du sort qui attend nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e0 la recherche continue d\u2019une croissance continue de profit. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Cet objet embl\u00e9matique de l\u2019assouvissement rapide de pulsions de plaisir a \u00e9t\u00e9 scann\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on tout aussi rapide par l\u2019artiste. Son explosion se prolonge sous la forme de gouttes de plastique\/r\u00e9sine color\u00e9e et\/ou d\u2019agr\u00e9gats d\u2019objets de consommation qui semblent s\u2019\u00e9couler de fa\u00e7on incontr\u00f4l\u00e9e, \u00e0 la fois jouissive et vomitive du carton.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freshly graduated from Multi, Master in Publishing Practices at ArBA-EsA in Brussels, in his work, Adrien Meurrens likes to give a sculptural form to the experiments he sets up based on printed sources. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">His creative gestures often find their origin in a process of purification in relation to the waste of our consumer society,<\/span> an approach that ultimately leads to paradoxical plastic forms, thus underlining the difficulty we have in maintaining the consistency of our civic commitments.&nbsp; Forms of implicit dialogue coexist in his work between contradictory desires, <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">between good intentions and compulsive demonstrations. <\/span>His art aims to both please and disrupt classic patterns of consumerism that often operate through automatic seduction and abusive self-promotion. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">In this case, we are presenting a monumental fruit juice print, magnified at human scale,<\/span> that seems to implode from within like the fate that awaits our companies in the pursuit of ever greater profit increases. The explosion of this advertising print is prolonged in the form of drops of coloured plastic\/resin and\/or aggregates of consumer goods that seem to flow uncontrollably and vomit from the carton of fruit juice. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">This emblem of fast consumption has been captured in an equally fast fashion: Meurrens has indeed resorted to a portable scanner before printing the image.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-95675","extra","type-extra","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra\/95675","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/extra"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=95675"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
