Des histoires anodines al\u00e9atoires lui servent de point de d\u00e9part pour imaginer des scripts qui pourraient \u00eatre extraits de films, n\u2019ayant pas vocation \u00e0 se concr\u00e9tiser. Au lieu de se focaliser sur une trame ou une ligne narrative, les s\u00e9quences imagin\u00e9es par Mathieu se concentrent plut\u00f4t vers tout ce qui est en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie du film proprement dit : les scripts, les castings, les instantan\u00e9s, et quelques sc\u00e8nes orphelines. La culture populaire, les messages qu\u2019il re\u00e7oit, les sites web qu\u2019il consulte, les gens qu\u2019il rencontre, participent \u00e0 nourrir son \u0153uvre.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fabien Mathieu&#8217;s work in photography and film revolves primarily around his family and close friends and the stories he invents from them. Random, innocuous stories that serve as a starting point for him to imagine scripts that could be excerpts from movies, but then movies that are not intended to actually materialize or become real. Instead of focusing on a plot or a narrative line, the sequences imagined by Mathieu focus rather on everything that is on the periphery of the movie itself: the scripts, the castings, the snapshots, and a few stray scenes.
