{"id":95664,"date":"2021-04-28T09:51:58","date_gmt":"2021-04-28T07:51:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/?post_type=extra&#038;p=95664"},"modified":"2021-04-28T09:51:58","modified_gmt":"2021-04-28T07:51:58","slug":"b27","status":"publish","type":"extra","link":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/extra\/b27\/","title":{"rendered":"Mathias Greenhalgh"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet Canis du jeune Matthias Greenhalgh, fra\u00eechement \u00e9moulu du Master en Pratiques de l\u2019\u00c9dition de l\u2019ArBA\u2011EsA, s\u2019articule en une s\u00e9rie d\u2019objet imprim\u00e9es et \u00e9ditoriaux divers : un fanzine, des tirages photos, une affiche\u2026 <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\"><em>Canis<\/em> partait d\u2019une volont\u00e9 d\u2019investigation des liens entre l\u2019humain et l\u2019animal,<\/span> en l\u2019occurrence, entre le chien et l\u2019homme, en \u00e9tudiant la co\u2011\u00e9volution et l symbiose entre ces deux esp\u00e8ces, sans doute les deux plus \u00e9troitement li\u00e9es l\u2019une \u00e0 l\u2019autre, depuis des mill\u00e9naires. C\u2019est aussi, et surtout, comme d\u00e9clic, simplement l\u2019histoire d\u2019un homme, le p\u00e8re de l\u2019artiste, et de son chien, Rom\u00e9o, de leurs interactions et un bref aper\u00e7u de leur vie. Il s\u2019agissait donc aussi d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter la fa\u00e7on de prendre en photo les animaux, sans tomber dans les clich\u00e9s de la photographie animali\u00e8re.<span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\"> C\u2019est ainsi que dans le dispositif de pr\u00e9sentation retenu, l\u2019artiste nous invite \u00e0 nous placer au niveau physique de l\u2019animal et d\u2019essayer de voir comment il appr\u00e9hende son environnement.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>Canis <\/em>project by the young Matthias Greenhalgh, fresh out of the Master in Publishing Practices at the ArBA-EsA, is organized into a series of various printed and editorial object. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\"><em>Canis<\/em> started from a desire to investigate the links between humans and animals,<\/span> in this case between dogs and humans, by studying the co-evolution and the symbiosis between these two species, undoubtedly the two that have been most closely related to each other, for millennia. It is also, and above all, as a trigger, simply the story of a man, the artist&#8217;s father, and his dog, Romeo, of their interactions and a brief glimpse into their lives. It was therefore also a question of experimenting with how to take pictures of animals, without falling into the clich\u00e9s of animal photography. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Thus, in the chosen presentation system, the artist invites us to place ourselves at the physical level of the animal and to try to see how it apprehends its environment.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-95664","extra","type-extra","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra\/95664","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/extra"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=95664"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
