Gendre vise l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 et la simplicit\u00e9 des moyens pour un message tout aussi efficace. Elle se m\u00e9fie donc de la virtuosit\u00e9 qui distrairait les spectateurs de son propos. Parmi les nombreuses th\u00e9matiques soci\u00e9tales qui sous\u2011tendent ses propositions, citons en particulier les questions de la violence structurelle ou de la surveillance.<br><br>L\u2019installation <em>Meta<\/em> que nous pr\u00e9sentons ici se d\u00e9ploie au d\u00e9part d\u2019un protocole in the making de cr\u00e9ation de dessins au graphite sur papier A4. La ligne est claire, pr\u00e9cise abordant de fa\u00e7on libre et surprenante une multitude de probl\u00e9matiques contemporaines comme autant de points de d\u00e9part d\u2019associations pleines d\u2019onirisme et de surprises. La s\u00e9rie devrait se terminer quand le chiffre de 500 aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 atteint. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">En l\u2019occurrence, 5 blocs de 60 scans imprim\u00e9s de ces dessins ont \u00e9t\u00e9 reli\u00e9s. Chaque visiteur est invit\u00e9, s\u2019il le souhaite, \u00e0 d\u00e9tacher et emporter un des dessins de ces blocs, interagissant ainsi directement sur l\u2019apparence de l\u2019installation, qui prendra donc potentiellement autant de formes combinatoires possibles qu\u2019il y aura de visiteurs.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laetitia Gendre draws, in a continuous way, in a way that is both contemplative and compulsive, and in a practice of the medium that is often at the crossroads of several disciplines, flirting willingly with the performative dimension and often materializing in sculptural or even architectural forms which refer to space, investing it, while attacking, expanding or multiplying it. Gendre aims for efficiency and simplicity of means in order to convey an equally effective message. She is therefore wary of virtuosity which would distract viewers from her point. Among the many societal themes underlying her works, we can cite in particular the issues of structural violence or surveillance.<br><br>The installation <em>Meta<\/em> that we are presenting here is based on a protocol in the making for creating graphite drawings on A4 paper. The line is clear, precise, tackling in a free and surprising way a multitude of contemporary issues as starting points for associations full of dreamlike associations and surprises.&nbsp; The series will end when the figure of 500 has been reached.<span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\"> In this case, 5 blocks of 60 printed scans of these designs have been bound.
