Souvent, elle se d\u00e9ploie au d\u00e9part d\u2019une pratique extensive et attentive du dessin, en dialogue avec utilisation \u00e0 la fois plastique et s\u00e9mantique du langage. Les allers retours entre ces deux polarit\u00e9s d\u2019expression formelle reviennent de fa\u00e7on \u00e9vidente dans son \u0153uvre graphique et imprim\u00e9e, les uns permettant parfois de pr\u00e9ciser ou de d\u00e9velopper ce que les autres n\u2019arrivent pas \u00e0 transmettre de fa\u00e7on efficace. Dans ses installations, textes et dessins se prolongent et compl\u00e8tent donc les uns les autres, rehauss\u00e9s par un usage expressif d\u2019aplats de couleur venant ponctuer ses mises en pages, ainsi lib\u00e9r\u00e9es de toute forme de ponctuation coercitive. Les recherches de Lise Duclaux associent l\u2019art \u00e0 la science, la philosophie \u00e0 la politique \u00e9cologique dans un \u00e9clectisme de sources et r\u00e9f\u00e9rences assum\u00e9es, dans une pens\u00e9e globale de la circularit\u00e9, \u00e0 la fois dialectique et inclusive. Pour autant l\u2019humour, les jeux de mots, le jeu en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral ne sont jamais \u00e9loign\u00e9s de ses propositions. Duclaux est fascin\u00e9e par ce qui est a priori invisible, se d\u00e9robe \u00e0 un regard h\u00e2tif : trop petit ou trop grand, trop proche ou trop \u00e9loign\u00e9, souterrain ou cosmique, les extr\u00eames se rejoignant. L\u2019un comme l\u2019autre ouvrent d\u2019ailleurs pour elle les cl\u00e9s des projections les plus efficaces de l\u2019imaginaire et de la m\u00e9taphore. C\u2019est ainsi que l\u2019univers microscopique des bact\u00e9ries, celui des racines souterraines, des taupes reviennent de fa\u00e7on r\u00e9currente tels des leitmotive dans son corpus. La question des racines, en particulier, structure sa pens\u00e9e, profond\u00e9ment ancr\u00e9e, certes, dans le vivant, mais acceptant par l\u00e0 m\u00eame, la notion d\u2019impermanence et de transformation continuelle. Pour elle, les racines ne sont jamais finies ni stables mais se recr\u00e9ent en permanence, \u00e0 l\u2019encontre de la recherche utopique de stabilit\u00e9 et d\u2019origine fixe qui sous\u2011tend nombre des d\u00e9rives de nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s humaines. Pour la paraphraser, les racines sont (certes) des astres, mais les astres sont aussi des racines. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Le coffret que nous pr\u00e9sentons ici,<em> A l\u2019horizon profond<\/em>, comprend 70 prints de format A4, o\u00f9 des feuillets aux couleurs vives sur lesquels se d\u00e9tachent des slogans efficaces alternent avec des compositions plus graphiques ou textuelles. Dans l\u2019ensemble, il offre une vision d\u2019ensemble particuli\u00e8rement coh\u00e9rente et exhaustive des investigations et prises de position citoyennes de l\u2019artiste.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Lise Duclaux has built an extremely coherent body of work around themes essentially linked to her commitment to living things, whether plant, animal, human or mineral:<\/span> alongside performative actions, inventory essays or sculptural practices that take on an ephemeral character, her work deals with the living, addresses the living, is thought, understood and transmitted by the living. Often, it takes shape based on an extensive and attentive practice of drawing, in dialogue with both plastic and semantic use of language. The back and forth between these two polarities of formal expression are evident in her graphic and printed work, with certain works refining or developing that which others fail to effectively convey. In her installations, texts and drawings are extended and thus complement each other, enhanced by an expressive use of flat areas of color accenting her layouts, thus freed from any form of coercive punctuation. Lise Duclaux&#8217;s explorations associate art with science, philosophy with ecological politics, in an eclecticism of sources and assumed references, in a global thought of circularity, both dialectical and inclusive. However, humour, puns and games, in general, are never far away in her work.&nbsp; Duclaux is fascinated by what is <em>a priori<\/em> invisible, eludes a hasty glance: too small or too large, too close or too far, underground or cosmic, the extremes meet. Both open up for her the keys to the most effective projections of imagination and metaphor.&nbsp; It is in this sense that the microscopic universe of bacteria, or that of underground roots, or moles recurrently appear as <em>leitmotifs<\/em> in her oeuvre. The question of roots, in particular, structures her thinking, deeply rooted, certainly, in the living, but at once accepting the notion of impermanence and continuous transformation. For her, roots are never finite or stable, but are constantly recreated, in opposition to the utopian search for stability and fixed origin that underlies many of the excesses of our human societies. To paraphrase her, <em>the roots are (surely) stars<\/em>, but the stars are also roots. The publication\/box<span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\"><em> A l&#8217;horizon profond, <\/em>which we present here, consists of 70 A4 digital prints, alternating effective slogans on colored paper sheets and more graphic and textual white A4 sheets.
