In a way, his work aims at a dialectical resolution of these components by in fact creating artefacts and hybrid environments where these different realities come together. Yes, pls, the works that Canesi has specially created for Bye Bye His-Story, chapter 5050 are divided into two distinct series, inducing different apprehensions of the relationship between man and nature. Between anthropomorphic projections, aesthetic and cultural references to the diffracted reality of cubism, but also to the tradition of film noir or comics (Canesi was specifically inspired by Berserk by Kentaro Miura and Bejelit, a living amulet, resembling an egg covered with different facets of a human face), Yes pls presents plants defying the laws of gravity that greet visitors with diffracted and moving representations of human faces decomposed on their foliage. The dual and dialectical relationship between man and nature is expressed in a synthetic way between relationships of projection and domination and, conversely, a subordination to the fundamental and unstoppable freedom of the natural element. Elsewhere in the exhibition, this dual relationship comes in a distinct way in the form of T-shirts, potentially worn by performers, sporting in their centre a tinted silicone vase simulating the chromaticism of a tinted glass. The aesthetic of these vases is inspired by the plants represented in a stylized fashion in the first level of Flashback, a video game set in a futuristic jungle. The elasticity of the silicone allows these vases/t-shirts to be worn while ensuring the waterproofness of the set-up. In this specific articulation of Yes, pls, man becomes at first glance the subordinate instrument of the natural element even if, on closer inspection, one recognizes the elements of an integrated transformation of the natural element, passed through the prism of a prior reconstruction and virtual projection of the latter.

["post-95643","extra","type-extra","status-publish","hentry
["GET
