{"id":95637,"date":"2021-04-28T09:18:50","date_gmt":"2021-04-28T07:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/?post_type=extra&#038;p=95637"},"modified":"2021-04-28T09:18:50","modified_gmt":"2021-04-28T07:18:50","slug":"b9","status":"publish","type":"extra","link":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/extra\/b9\/","title":{"rendered":"Aline Bouvy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce qui caract\u00e9rise le mieux le travail d\u2019Aline Bouvy, artiste luxembourgeoise form\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019ERG, et active sur la sc\u00e8ne belge depuis quelque vingt ans, c\u2019est assur\u00e9ment son extr\u00eame curiosit\u00e9, son ind\u00e9pendance et cette libert\u00e9 de ton et fond, cet \u00e9clectisme formel qui lui permet, expo apr\u00e8s expo de se r\u00e9inventer, tout en gardant une extr\u00eame coh\u00e9rence dans ses engagements citoyens et sociaux, f\u00e9ministes notamment. Les affiches que nous pr\u00e9sentons ici ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es tout r\u00e9cemment \u00e0 l\u2019occasion d\u2019une invitation qui lui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 faite de participer \u00e0 une exposition \u00e0 Berlin <em>Body Fluids<\/em> \u00e0 la galerie Vessels. Voulant se soustraire aux clich\u00e9s d\u2019une f\u00e9minit\u00e9 conventionnellement associ\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de fluidit\u00e9 et de fluides corporels, Bouvy tomba un peu par hasard sur le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de la communaut\u00e9 marginale des <em>soupeurs<\/em> et <em>cro\u00fbtenards<\/em>, personnages d\u00e9lur\u00e9s n\u00e9s d\u2019un f\u00e9tichisme pour les toilettes publiques, et, plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment pour les vespasiennes d\u2019une \u00e9poque r\u00e9volue qu\u2019ils investissaient pour \u00ab satisfaire leurs habitudes boulang\u00e8res d\u2019un genre tout particulier&nbsp;\u00bb.<span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\"> Au\u2011del\u00e0 de la mise en \u00e9vidence d\u2019un fantasme bien masculin,<\/span> f\u00fbt\u2011il tr\u00e8s marginal, qui pr\u00eate \u00e0 la moue d\u00e9go\u00fbt\u00e9e ou au sourire, <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">c\u2019est \u00e0 une interrogation involutive de la place l\u00e9gitime de la sexualit\u00e9 et des fantasmes f\u00e9minins dans l\u2019espace public qu\u2019Aline Bouvy nous convie indirectement.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What best characterizes the work of Aline Bouvy, a Luxembourg artist trained at the ERG, and active on the Belgian scene for some twenty years, is undoubtedly her extreme curiosity, her independence and a freedom of tone and background, a formal eclecticism which allows her, exhibition after exhibition, to reinvent herself, while keeping an extreme consistency in her civic and social commitments, particularly as a feminist. The posters we present here were created very recently on the occasion of an invitation extended to her to participate in an exhibition, <em>Body Fluids <\/em>at the Saarl\u00e4ndische Galerie. Wanting to escape the clich\u00e9s of a femininity conventionally associated with the idea of fluidity and bodily fluids, Bouvy came across the phenomenon of the marginal community of <em>soupeurs<\/em> or <em>cro\u00fbtenards<\/em>, crafty characters born of a fetishism for public toilets, and, more precisely for the public urinals of a bygone era that they repurposed to satisfy their highly particular culinary desires with bread\u201d. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Beyond highlighting a very masculine fantasy, albeit a very marginal one, which lends itself to a disgusted pout or a smile, it is an involutive questioning of the legitimate place of sexuality and feminine fantasies in the public space that Aline Bouvy indirectly invites us to engage in.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-95637","extra","type-extra","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra\/95637","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/extra"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=95637"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
