Son art r\u00e9v\u00e8le une approche libre, l\u00e9g\u00e8rement punk engag\u00e9e et nourrie de culture musicale et d\u2019engagements f\u00e9ministes<span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">. Pour <em>Bye Bye His\u2011Story, chapter 5050<\/em>, nous activons une \u00e9dition imprim\u00e9e sur sweat shirts dont les motifs peints,<\/span> per\u00e7us de prime abord de fa\u00e7on essentiellement d\u00e9corative, se d\u00e9couvrent \u00e0 un examen plus attentif. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">S\u2019y adjoint une installation plastique et additive de toiles repr\u00e9sentant des vieux amplis vintage, doubl\u00e9e d\u2019un tirage lithographique du m\u00eame motif. Gr\u00e9sillant de peinture fr\u00e9missante, elles semblent exprimer le cri souvent silencieux des laiss\u00e9s\u2011pour\u2011compte, des voix oubli\u00e9es, voire occult\u00e9es, de notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ou de notre histoire.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Charlotte Beaudry\u2019s protean artistic practice was from the start expressed in different media, ranging from painting to video, and including drawing and performance. Her art reveals a free, slightly punk approach that is socially aware and nourished by musical culture and feminist engagement. Taking pleasure in disrupting scale, she often gives a monumental form to her subjects, which accentuates their expressive and symbolic potential, removing them from triviality and overwhelming the viewer, whom she deliberately, though not harshly, takes out of his comfort zone. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">For <em>Bye Bye His-Story<\/em>, <em>chapter 5050<\/em>, we are presenting an edition printed on sweatshirts, the painted patterns of which, initially appearing as essentially decorative, reveal more upon closer examination.<\/span> There is also a visual and <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">additive installation of canvases depicting old vintage amps, echoing in an amplified way a lithograph of the same subject, edited by Bruno Robbe.
