{"id":95609,"date":"2021-04-27T14:35:25","date_gmt":"2021-04-27T12:35:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/?post_type=extra&#038;p=95609"},"modified":"2021-04-27T14:35:25","modified_gmt":"2021-04-27T12:35:25","slug":"b4","status":"publish","type":"extra","link":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/extra\/b4\/","title":{"rendered":"Shuzo Azuchi Gulliver"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">L\u2019\u0153uvre de Shuzo Azuchi dit Gulliver, l\u2019un des exposants les plus importants du courant Fluxus japonais<\/span> trouve l\u2019un de ses axes directeurs dans l\u2019utilisation de son propre corps, dans la diffusion expansionniste m\u00e9diatis\u00e9e et organis\u00e9e de sa mati\u00e8re corporelle, de son \u00e9nergie vitale et de son patrimoine g\u00e9n\u00e9tique dans l\u2019espace qu\u2019il partage avec le spectateur. <br><br>Ami de Beuys, mais aussi de On Kawara, et toujours dans une perspective de projection de sa propre immortalit\u00e9, il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des toiles imprim\u00e9es, inspir\u00e9es des<em> Date Paintings<\/em> de ce dernier, explicitant la date de son 100<sup>e<\/sup> anniversaire, le 24 ao\u00fbt 2047. <br><br>Le tableau additionnel que nous pr\u00e9sentons ici s\u2019inscrit dans cette logique en l\u2019exacerbant, non sans humour : <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">il porte en effet la date du 1000<sup>e<\/sup> anniversaire de l\u2019artiste, le 24 ao\u00fbt 2947, date \u00e0 laquelle nous sommes tous convi\u00e9s, moyennant le carton d\u2019invitation que vous pouvez emporter, au vernissage de son exposition au Temple Ishiyama-Dara \u00e0 Tokyo, en pr\u00e9sence du Dala\u00ef Lama\u2026 Le rendez-vous est pris.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">The work of Shuzo Azuchi, known as Gulliver, one of the most important exponents of the Japanese <em>Fluxus<\/em> movement, finds one of its major axes in the use of his own body,<\/span> in the mediated and organized expansionist diffusion of his bodily matter, of its vital energy and its DNA in the space it shares with the viewer.&nbsp;<br><br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">A friend of Beuys, but also of On Kawara, and always with a view to projecting his own immortality, he produced printed canvases,<\/span> inspired by the latter&#8217;s <em>Date Paintings<\/em>, specifying the dates of future birthdays, on August 24th.<br><br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">The paintings that we present here form part of this logic by exacerbating it, not without humour: one bears the date of the artist&#8217;s 100th birthday, August 24, 2047, while a second one that of his 1000th birth anniversary, a date to which we are all invited, by means of the invitation card that you can take to the opening of his exhibition at the Ishiyama-Dara Temple in Tokyo, in the presence of the Dalai Lama\u2026 Save the date.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-95609","extra","type-extra","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra\/95609","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/extra"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/extra"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.centredelagravure.be\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=95609"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
