Elles naviguent souvent dans un entre\u2011deux spatio\u2011temporel, entre critique optimiste des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s du pr\u00e9sent et projection po\u00e9tiques d\u2019un futur polymorphe, pressenti comme d\u00e9j\u00e0 en construction : Il y occupe \u00e0 dire vrai une place r\u00e9solument centrale.<br><br>Les \u00ab\u00a0ch\u00e2ssis\u00a0\u00bb que nous montrons ici font partie de la s\u00e9rie <em>Arrangements and Haze<\/em>. \u00c0 leur sujet, Apparatus 22 parlent volontiers de<span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\"> minimalisme hard core. \u00c0 la lettre, il s\u2019agit de grands ch\u00e2ssis tendus de cuir blanc, l\u2019un des premiers supports (\u00e0 l\u2019instar du parchemin) de l\u2019\u00e9criture, avant le papier, grav\u00e9s au laser de textes po\u00e9tiques de leur composition. Ces phrases explorent des sc\u00e9narios mettant en sc\u00e8ne,<\/span> sans aucune restriction de l\u2019imaginaire ni lin\u00e9arit\u00e9 narrative, <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">le corps augment\u00e9, bionique d\u2019une humanit\u00e9 du futur.<\/span> Les \u00e9pidermes picturaux fonctionnent \u00e0 l\u2019instar de cuirs tatou\u00e9s, questionnant les enjeux du rapport r\u00e9invent\u00e9 de l\u2019humanit\u00e9 \u00e0 propos de sa corpor\u00e9it\u00e9 : Est\u2011ce que nos corps du futur seront mieux \u00e9quip\u00e9s par rapport \u00e0 la survie ? <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">Est-ce que l\u2019homme dans cette perspective doit\u2011il n\u00e9cessairement rester fid\u00e8le \u00e0 sa forme humano\u00efde, ou, au contraire, l\u2019immortalit\u00e9 passera-t-elle par l\u2019abandon de cette forme humaine ?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between the right distance, poetic license, and critical empathy, the polymorphic practice of Apparatus 22 is fueled by their layered experience and the geometry of converging and complementary energies that spark their status as a dispersed collective: shared dreams, research, active and critical observation, poetic activism are all characteristics of creative dynamics that summon and embrace an observation and a critical exploration of the intersecting relationships between the worlds of politics, economy, fashion, religion, sociology and gender studies in particular, or social protest movements. The word, be it written, spoken, lived, performed, exchanged, broadcast, by radio, or, quite simply, implied is never totally absent or too far removed from their creations.<br><br>The compositions we show here are part of the <em>Arrangements and Haze<\/em> series. About them, Apparatus 22 readily talk in terms <span class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color-color\">of hard-core minimalism. Literally, they are large frames stretched with white leather, one of the earliest supports (like parchment) for writing, before paper, laser\u2011engraved with poetic texts of their own composition. These sentences explore scenarios featuring, without any restriction of the imaginary or narrative linearity, the augmented, bionic body of a humanity of the future.<\/span> The pictorial skins function like tattooed leathers, questioning aspects of humanity&#8217;s reinvented relationship with its corporeality: Will our bodies of the future be better equipped for survival?
