24th edition - 2015

Le Prix de la Gravure et de l'Image imprimée/27ème édition - Logo: Brieuc Deghouys

At the request of The Minister for Culture for the French Community of Belgium, the CENTRE DE LA GRAVURE has assumed the responsibility for the organisation of this award ever since 1989.

The purpose of the award is to encourage the creation of works in print or engravings, in the art form of the artist’s choice: prints, books, collage, installation…

All printing techniques, traditional or innovative, are permitted.

The prize, the sum of 2,500 €, is awarded to artists aged between 25-45 years, from the French Community of Belgium or those living there for over a year.

Each year the selection of the artists is made in two steps.  The pre-selection of the works on show is made by a jury from the French Community, and the nomination of the prize winner is made by an international jury.
