The educational department

The museum has emerged from the era of dusty exhibits to become a meeting place where one can encounter works of art and the artists themselves. The discovery of their work is an exploration of the multiple facets of our world, languages and cultural differences without bias or prejudice.

The work of the educational department is to capture the attention of a child and arouse his curiosity by giving him the key to artistic expression through the art of engraving. The instructors have developed different creative activities suitable for each age. Guided tours and workshops for adults and for children, plus contacts with individual artists, outside activities and long term educational projects complete the programme on offer.

The formula varies with each exhibition and highlights the different techniques both thematic and artistic of the artists themselves. The programme can also be adapted to correspond with the educational objectives of school teachers and group leaders.

Guided tours in English (1 hour) can be arranged by appointment.
All other activities are usually exclusively available in French.
