The Centre de la Gravure has around 5,000 posters which were originally made for cultural, political or social ends. These also include the bequest of the Belgian graphic artist Jacques Richez, a major donation from Alain Le Quernec, and posters by many Belgian and foreign artists, such as Goffin, Junius, Pos, Tomaszewski, …

The Centre also has a large number of posters by artists whose printed artworks and engravings are represented elsewhere in the collection (ex.: Alechinsky, Chillida, Segui, Tapies, …)

The museum is a founder member and administrator of the R.E.A.G.A. (Réseau Européen d’Affiches et de Graphisme d’Auteur / European poster and original graphics network), which brings together organisations in Germany, Austria, Belgium, France and Holland. The mission of the REAGA is to foster the dissemination of the graphic arts through joint exhibitions and collaborative events and, in the longer term, to establish a network of poster collections from the archives of all these museums, and to eventually create virtual exhibitions that can be accessed via the net.
